Worked on stabilizing the AWS Lambda migration workflow in the seek-oss/skuba repository by addressing a critical bug that affected the import path for the AWS Lambda Node.js library. Using TypeScript and AWS CDK, the developer restored compatibility and proper functionality in the migration script, which reduced deployment risk and minimized downtime during Lambda-based migrations. The technical approach emphasized maintainability by providing explicit commit messages and collaborating closely with a co-author to ensure code quality. This work improved the reliability of AWS Lambda deployments and enhanced traceability of changes, supporting smoother upgrades and reducing the likelihood of runtime errors in production environments.
