Focused on backend development and database management, the work involved refactoring the moisture data ingestion endpoint to correctly parse incoming sensor data and updating the data access layer to ensure device IDs were properly recorded. Using Python and SQL, addressed data integrity issues by aligning database insertion logic with the expected schema and improved code readability in SQL queries. These changes reduced ingestion errors, improved traceability for device-level analytics, and established a more maintainable foundation for future enhancements to sensor data workflows.

Implemented a fix to the moisture data pathway by refactoring the receiving endpoint to correctly parse incoming sensor data and updating the sensor DAL to insert into the correct schema with device IDs.
