Worked on the major/ec2-plugin repository to deliver AWS Nitro Enclaves support for EC2 instances launched via the Jenkins EC2 plugin. Developed a new SlaveTemplate configuration option, allowing users to enable Nitro Enclaves for enhanced workload isolation and compliance. Updated the plugin’s documentation, Jelly configuration files, and test suite to ensure seamless integration and accurate representation of the new feature. Leveraged skills in AWS, cloud computing, and Jenkins plugin development, utilizing Java, Jelly, and YAML throughout the process. Focused on security-driven infrastructure as code, the work addressed evolving CI security requirements without introducing new bug fixes during the reported period.
