Worked on enhancing security for the rdkcentral/telemetry repository by implementing default Mutual TLS (MTLS) for all telemetry connections. This feature made MTLS the standard configuration when the ENABLE_MTLS macro is defined, reducing security risks and streamlining deployment for customers by removing the need for manual enablement. The solution was developed in C, leveraging expertise in embedded systems and network security to ensure robust integration across endpoints. By automating secure connection defaults, the work aligned with broader security objectives and reduced operational overhead, providing a more secure and user-friendly experience for those deploying telemetry features in embedded environments.
