Worked on the ppc64le/build-scripts repository to develop a dedicated build script for the couchbase-python-client package targeting the ppc64le/ubi9.7 platform. The approach focused on automating the packaging flow by ensuring all dependencies were installed and validating the package during the build process. Updates included modifications to packaging scripts and metadata, such as couchbase-python-client_4.6.1_ubi9.7.sh and build_info.json, to align with the new build process. Utilized Bash and Python to streamline installation and reduce manual intervention, demonstrating skills in DevOps, scripting, and cross-architecture packaging automation. The work improved build reliability and CI readiness for the distribution.
