Arūnas developed localization infrastructure for the fairpm/fair-plugin repository, focusing on expanding the plugin’s accessibility for non-English users. He implemented internationalization and localization support in PHP, introducing a Domain Path header to define the translation directory and integrating Lithuanian translations for the plugin’s user interface. This work established a scalable foundation for future locale additions, streamlining the process of supporting multiple languages. By prioritizing plugin development best practices and leveraging his expertise in internationalization, Arūnas enabled faster localization cycles and improved user experience. The depth of his contribution lies in building maintainable systems that facilitate ongoing global expansion.
