Worked on the open-webui/open-webui repository to deliver a feature that dispatches an event after chat list updates, enabling downstream components to stay synchronized and improving overall UI responsiveness. This event-driven approach enhanced cross-component communication and maintainability within the Svelte-based front end. The work included a targeted bug fix addressing folder chat renaming, ensuring smoother user interactions and consistent state management. Throughout the development process, clear commit hygiene and focused changesets were maintained. Leveraging skills in Svelte and front end development, the contribution resulted in a faster, more reliable chat interface with improved coordination between UI modules and components.
