Worked on enhancing database bootstrapping reliability in the tursodatabase/libsql repository by developing and integrating mock endpoints and comprehensive tests. Focused on backend development and database management, the work involved implementing mock server endpoints for export and information retrieval, enabling robust validation of the bootstrapping process. Using Rust, SQL, and JSON, two targeted tests were created to verify both the successful download of bootstrap data and the idempotence of the workflow. This approach improved test coverage, allowing for earlier detection of regressions and more reliable database initialization. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, emphasizing feature development and testing.
