During a two-month period, Astronomix enhanced the google/android-cuttlefish repository by modularizing and refactoring core utilities, improving build stability and maintainability. They enabled Arch Linux support by updating Bazel build rules and reorganized the web API surface into dedicated modules, streamlining onboarding and code reuse. Their work included extracting and alphabetizing utilities for networking, file handling, and data processing, which strengthened testability and CI readiness. In aspect-build/rules_lint, Astronomix resolved a critical build incompatibility by adjusting layering_check behavior, reducing errors and accelerating linting workflow adoption. Their contributions leveraged C++, Bazel, and CI/CD practices to deliver robust, maintainable build systems.
