Ata Kaner developed and maintained core features for the ExtremeXT/ExtremeROM repository, focusing on Android ROM development and build system configuration. Over two months, Ata enhanced multi-resolution support by consolidating patch management under a unified structure and implemented device-aware QHD display logic to optimize WEBP and MP4 outputs for high-DPI devices. Using Shell scripting and binary patching, Ata also addressed data integrity by fixing resolution blob corruption. In a subsequent phase, Ata streamlined the build process by removing deprecated patch sets and unused artifacts, reducing maintenance overhead and improving reliability. The work demonstrated depth in system configuration and patch management.

March 2025 (2025-03) focused on build-system stabilization for ExtremeROM. Delivered targeted cleanup by removing the deprecated mainline-fix patch set for the r8q target (disabling tethering updates) and deleting the ext4 apex blob from stock_blobs, streamlining the build and reducing maintenance surface. This work reduces build complexity, lowers risk of patch conflicts, and sets the stage for faster iteration and future cleanups.
