During April 2026, work focused on enhancing the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository by implementing the Editor Expand Selection Plugin entry. This addition enabled users to expand editor selections to lines, sections, or the entire note, directly addressing mobile editing usability challenges. The technical approach involved updating JSON configuration files and integrating plugin development best practices to ensure seamless functionality within the existing release workflow. All changes were documented for release notes and tracked through a dedicated commit. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this targeted feature using skills in JSON, mobile usability, and plugin development.
