Worked on enhancing DNS reliability and performance within the kubernetes/kops repository by upgrading CoreDNS to version 1.11.3 across all cluster templates and test files. Focused on standardizing the DNS image version to reduce configuration drift and potential DNS-related issues, the upgrade was implemented using YAML and validated across multiple cluster configurations to ensure compatibility and stability. Leveraged cloud-native and DevOps skills to deliver a single, targeted feature that improved consistency in DNS operations. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on proactive infrastructure improvements and maintaining robust Kubernetes cluster environments through careful version management.
