In November 2024, Aterzitane enhanced the GDS Input Component within the seb-oss/green repository by implementing a new event that signals when the input is cleared. Using JavaScript and TypeScript, Aterzitane introduced the gds-input-cleared event, allowing parent components to detect and respond to input resets triggered by the clear button. The work included updating the component’s test suite to listen for and dispatch this event, ensuring robust event handling and improved usability. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the focus on front-end development, testing, and web components demonstrated a targeted and well-executed engineering contribution.
