During December 2025, Atkins focused on enhancing the documentation experience for the LLNL/Surfactant repository by upgrading its Sphinx theme to Furo, aiming to improve both aesthetics and navigation. Atkins implemented a copy code button within the documentation, allowing users to easily reuse code snippets, and refined theme options to streamline usability. The work involved updating documentation generation dependencies and ensuring a smooth build process, all executed using Python and Sphinx. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the changes addressed user experience and maintainability, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to documentation tooling and workflow improvements within the project.
