Worked on backend development for Grafana, focusing on both feature delivery and stability improvements. Built secure, scalable S3 image upload functionality in the grafana/grafana repository, enabling presigned URLs for time-limited access and aligning S3 integration with GCS and Azure. Enhanced security by bypassing ACLs on BucketOwnerEnforced buckets and introduced configurable expiration for presigned URLs. Refactored the S3 uploader for improved testability and expanded unit test coverage using Go and AWS S3. Additionally, addressed compatibility issues in grafana/mcp-grafana by implementing a RoundTripper to convert Prometheus POST requests to GET, ensuring reliable Grafana datasource proxy integration and robust API behavior.
