Worked on the eclipse-osee/org.eclipse.osee repository to enhance the accuracy and stability of data retrieval for branches, categories, and transactions. Focused on backend development and database management, the work involved fixing a critical bug in the BranchIncludeCategoriesSqlHandler by correcting SQL join handling and refactoring the logic to dynamically manage table entries and parameters. This approach ensured reliable and consistent data for reporting and analytics across dashboards. Leveraged Java and SQL to tune queries and improve maintainability, reducing the risk of regression in category inclusion logic while maintaining robust version-control traceability for critical data-access paths throughout the project.
