Worked on the oxidecomputer/omicron repository to deliver a new transceiver datapath control subcommand within the xcvradm utility, focusing on enhancing datapath configuration and control workflows. Leveraged Shell scripting alongside build system and version control skills to implement this feature, which enables more robust hardware control operations. Updated the tool’s versioning to reference a specific commit, improving traceability and supporting future automation efforts. The work addressed the need for clearer release management and facilitated faster debugging for transceiver datapath workflows.
