Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/cloud-foundation-fabric repository to implement GKE DNS resolution for private Google API endpoints, focusing on enhancing secure connectivity from the GKE control plane. The approach involved updating DNS policies and adjusting test resource counts to support private access, thereby reducing public exposure of sensitive endpoints. Used yaml for configuration management and applied expertise in cloud networking and DNS configuration to ensure the new setup aligned with private networking objectives. Validated the changes through targeted connectivity and DNS policy tests, contributing to the reliability and security of the deployment. No major bugs were reported during this period of work.
