Worked on the curl/curl repository to deliver AWS SigV4 HTTP header deduplication, addressing the challenge of duplicate headers in canonical requests. Developed a header-merging function in C to ensure proper formatting and AWS compliance, integrating comprehensive tests to validate the merging logic and prevent signing errors. Focused on HTTP protocol handling and API development, the work improved request reliability by merging repeated headers before signing, reducing the risk of AWS SigV4 authentication failures. Emphasized test-driven development and maintainability, contributing to a core open-source project with a targeted feature that enhances both correctness and robustness in HTTP request processing.
