The codebase was updated to use the C23 standard, and xxhash-devel was added to the dependencies, enhancing reliability and portability. Utilizing C and Python, the work emphasized maintainability and future extensibility, with thorough documentation to support ongoing development and reduce build-time issues for downstream users.
