Worked on expanding OAuth credential provider support in the dust-tt/dust repository by implementing McpStatic as a valid provider within the backend authentication logic. This involved updating provider validation routines and refining error messaging to accurately reflect the expanded set of supported providers, thereby improving clarity for operators and easing integration for clients using diverse credential configurations. The work was carried out using Rust, with a focus on backend development and OAuth protocol standards. These changes addressed compatibility gaps for McpStatic-based setups, aligning with ongoing efforts to incrementally broaden provider support and streamline authentication configuration for various deployment environments.
