Worked on enhancing the anthropics/anthropic-sdk-go repository by delivering a middleware update focused on reliable model invocation URL construction. Addressed the challenge of safely using inference profiles as models by implementing URL encoding for model names within API request paths, reducing the risk of invocation errors. Standardized the path formation logic for both streaming and non-streaming model invocations, improving consistency and reliability for backend integrations. The work was completed in Go and leveraged skills in API integration and backend development, resulting in a more robust and developer-friendly interface for interacting with model inference endpoints through the SDK’s bedrock middleware.
