April 2026: Repository hygiene improvement for dd-trace-js. Added .omc/ to .gitignore to prevent committing local agent state and scratch artifacts, reducing risk of leakage and CI noise. Single chore-style commit (e1b4ea50a1c32eab8c6ea69efcfc3f2738703dfb) implementing the ignore rule (#8092). No customer-facing features this month; this work focuses on maintainability, compliance, and build reproducibility.

March 2026: Delivered Datadog AI Guard integration for AWS Strands Security in the strands-agents/docs repo, enabling real-time evaluation and blocking of AI interactions based on security policies. The work strengthens policy-driven governance and reduces risk for sensitive workflows, laying the foundation for scalable AI security controls across AWS Strands. No major bugs fixed within this scope this month.

February 2026: dd-trace-rb — Expanded System Test Coverage to strengthen reliability and release readiness. Updated SYSTEM_TESTS_SCENARIOS_GROUPS to include an additional system test scenario, increasing coverage and early regression detection. Implemented via commit d270a13f96cf7fd2cd55fd1d50d59addb9fa9233 ('Update SYSTEM_TESTS_SCENARIOS_GROUPS for tests (#5310)'). This work reduces production risk by surfacing edge-case issues sooner, enabling safer deployments. Technologies: Ruby, test automation, CI workflow improvements. Skills demonstrated: test design, configuration management, code review, and cross-team collaboration.
