Worked on the NVIDIA/KAI-Scheduler repository to enhance the reliability of scaling workflows by addressing a deployment issue related to image naming conventions. Focused on Go development, the contribution involved normalizing the default image name for the scaling pod from 'scaling-pod' to 'scalingpod' across all scaling-related components. This targeted bug fix aligned the naming with established project conventions, reducing the risk of mismatches and deployment errors in CI/CD pipelines. The update improved maintainability and traceability within the codebase, making future audits and changes more straightforward. The work demonstrated attention to detail in Go and CI/CD pipeline integration.
