Worked on stabilizing the Gemini CLI by addressing a startup crash that occurred when NO_COLOR mode was enabled. In the zed-industries/gemini-cli repository, replaced the ink-gradient library with a custom ThemedGradient component to ensure the CLI would not crash if a gradient theme was undefined. Focused on front end development using React and TypeScript, implementing regression tests to verify that gradient rendering remained stable under various conditions. Prioritized compatibility and maintainability by reducing the risk of future support issues related to gradient rendering. The work emphasized targeted bug fixing and robust test coverage rather than introducing new features during this period.
