Developed and delivered a feature for the IBM/ibm-iam-operator repository that automated router certificate synchronization and enhanced secrets management for authentication services. The solution integrated IM label tagging to streamline the lifecycle and management of secrets, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency. Leveraging Go and Kubernetes, the work applied operator design patterns to automate certificate handling and enforce consistent metadata tagging. This approach strengthened the security posture of authentication services by ensuring timely certificate updates and more robust secret lifecycle controls. The contribution focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, accelerating onboarding and maintenance processes without introducing new bugs during the period.
