In September 2025, Avv developed Greengage Database support within the dbeaver/dbeaver repository by extending the PostgreSQL data source provider. This work involved integrating Greengage-specific properties, implementing version detection, and adding configuration assets to enable seamless connection and recognition of Greengage endpoints. Using Java and leveraging skills in database integration and plugin development, Avv enhanced the platform’s compatibility, allowing DBeaver to reliably connect to Greengage databases. The feature addressed the need for broader database support, reducing setup time for users and unlocking new business opportunities. The work demonstrated focused engineering depth, though it was limited to a single feature.
