Worked on the AviatrixSystems/terraform-provider-aviatrix repository to enhance BGP over LAN reliability and IPv6 connectivity for remote LANs. Developed and integrated a backup_remote_lan_ipv6_ip field, enabling high availability by providing a redundant IPv6 address for remote LAN connections. Implemented HA-aware validation logic to ensure correct configuration and prevent misconfigurations when high availability is enabled, directly improving network robustness and resilience. The work focused on infrastructure as code using Go and Terraform, with an emphasis on networking best practices. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as efforts centered on delivering this targeted feature and its supporting validation logic.
