In October 2025, Awas6 enhanced the Flow.Launcher repository by developing a user-configurable feature that prioritizes HTTPS over HTTP when opening URLs, addressing security and user control concerns. The implementation involved updating the core URL handling logic in C# and XAML, integrating a new setting within the user interface, and ensuring localization support for broader accessibility. This work required skills in configuration management, plugin development, and UI development, resulting in a seamless user experience that reduces insecure HTTP exposure. The feature maintained backward compatibility, reflecting a thoughtful approach to both security best practices and the existing application architecture.
