Mithilesh Konakmit developed hardware variant support for the Zephyr4Microchip/zephyr repository, focusing on the STM32F469I-DISCO platform. He implemented the AU1 variant by integrating the NT35510 LCD display and updating the FT5336 touch controller’s I2C address to match the new hardware configuration. Using C programming, device tree, and YAML, Mithilesh aligned LCD timing parameters to ensure compatibility with the NT35510 and completed the hardware bring-up groundwork. This work expanded the project’s hardware compatibility and streamlined future variant onboarding, demonstrating a solid understanding of embedded systems and low-level hardware integration within a short, focused development period.
