He improved CI reliability by refining GitHub Actions workflows, specifically removing unnecessary sudo usage in apt-get update and correcting test trigger logic to reduce flakiness. Adam implemented workflow automation in YAML to ensure upgrade tests only ran on main pull requests when explicitly labeled, optimizing resource usage and minimizing CI noise. He also aligned technical add-on version defaults for consistent upgrade testing and fixed junit XML parsing to enhance test result accuracy.
