Worked on the NVIDIA/cuda-python repository to enhance debugging capabilities and prepare for CUDA 13.2 integration. Developed and integrated a new numba_debug flag within the Numba CUDA workflow, enabling improved error tracking for developers working with CUDA. This involved updating the ProgramOptions class to support the new flag and expanding the test suite to ensure robust compatibility with CUDA 13.2 environments. The work was implemented using Python and leveraged expertise in CUDA, Numba, and testing methodologies. These changes streamline the debugging process and reduce integration risks, supporting a smoother transition for developers adopting the latest CUDA features.
