Worked on the mrousavy/react-native-reanimated repository to enhance the stability of shared element transitions during tab navigation in mobile applications. Focused on crash prevention, the developer implemented defensive programming techniques by adding null and empty array checks within the handleTabNavigatorChange method. This approach addressed issues with incorrectly populated or empty _disappearingScreens arrays, directly reducing crash reports and improving user experience during navigation flows. The work was carried out using React Native and Objective-C, leveraging expertise in mobile development and native modules. No new features were introduced, with the primary contribution centered on reliability and code safety for navigation transitions.
