During December 2024, Aymather focused on enhancing the stability of navigation flows in the mrousavy/react-native-reanimated repository. Addressing a recurring crash during shared element transitions in tab navigation, Aymather implemented defensive programming techniques in Objective-C and React Native, introducing null and empty array checks within the handleTabNavigatorChange method. This targeted fix prevented failures caused by empty or incorrectly populated _disappearingScreens, directly improving user experience and reliability. Although no new features were released, the work demonstrated a strong grasp of mobile development and native module integration, prioritizing robust error handling and code safety to reduce crash reports and harden navigation logic.
