Over two months, contributed to Infomaniak’s Android ecosystem by delivering 45 features and resolving 34 bugs across repositories such as android-SwissTransfer, android-kMail, and android-kDrive. Focused on user-facing improvements like an email contact picker, avatar generation, and file preview, while enhancing accessibility and localization. Applied Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose to refactor UI logic, optimize concurrency with coroutines, and strengthen error handling. Improved code maintainability through dependency injection, documentation, and code cleanup. Addressed performance and security in kDrive by optimizing avatar synchronization and content provider logic, resulting in more reliable, accessible, and maintainable mobile applications for diverse user needs.

April 2026 performance highlights: Shipped key user-facing features, stabilized the UI, and strengthened platform quality across Android and multiplatform apps. Notable deliveries include an Email contact picker for SwissTransfer, file preview on new transfers, and a BottomSheet screencapture on the QR code success screen, along with UI refinements like rail navigation for medium displays and auto-sizing branding. Major resilience and quality improvements were implemented through exception handling and null-safety in contact picker logic, performance optimizations, and reduction of unnecessary UI initializations. Cross-repo code quality improvements (code cleanup, removing unused imports, and display logic refactors) and core avatar generation enhancements in android-core further improved UX. Localization and accessibility improvements, such as replacing hardcoded strings with localized resources and refining content descriptions, broaden accessibility and localization coverage. These changes collectively reduce crash risk, improve user onboarding, and enable a more consistent cross-device experience, driving measurable business value in user engagement and support efficiency.
