Aziz Rak developed a reusable CAD asset for the OMI project in the basedhardware/omi repository, focusing on delivering a detailed STEP file for the OMI wristband. Using skills in 3D modeling, CAD design, and geometric representation, Aziz structured the asset to support accurate visualization and production planning. The STEP file included comprehensive geometry and surface definitions, enabling reliable downstream simulations and efficient design-to-manufacturing handoffs. By linking the deliverable to a version-controlled commit, Aziz ensured traceability and clear documentation. The work demonstrated a disciplined approach to CAD data delivery, providing a foundation for future design and manufacturing workflows within the project.
