Developed a reusable CAD asset for the OMI project in the basedhardware/omi repository, focusing on delivering a detailed STEP file for the OMI wristband. Applied 3D modeling and CAD design skills to create precise geometric representations and surface definitions, supporting accurate visualization and production planning. The work emphasized structured geometry and clear documentation within the STEP asset, enabling reliable downstream simulations and efficient design-to-manufacturing handoffs. By linking the deliverable to a version-controlled commit, ensured traceability and reproducibility for future development. No major bug fixes were reported, with efforts concentrated on asset creation and enabling robust workflows for hardware design teams.
