During August 2025, Azkotoki developed a custom exit button feature for the EmulatorJS player within the rommapp/romm repository. Leveraging JavaScript, Vue.js, and CSS, Azkotoki replaced the default exitEmulation control with a tailored button that saves the emulator state and navigates users back to the previous page. This approach improved user experience by ensuring consistent and predictable navigation flow when exiting emulation sessions. The integration was thoroughly documented to streamline quality assurance and support future enhancements. While the work focused on a single feature, it demonstrated attention to user interface consistency and maintainability in frontend development practices.
