During July 2025, Boris Grigorov enhanced release automation for the MetaMask/metamask-extension and MetaMask/metamask-mobile repositories. He developed new CI/CD workflows using YAML and GitHub Actions, focusing on automating version bumps to the main branch after Release Candidate creation. This approach reduced manual intervention and improved nightly build reliability by ensuring version consistency. In metamask-mobile, Boris clarified release processes by refining workflow naming conventions to distinguish legacy and current procedures. His work centralized release logic, streamlined maintenance, and preserved backward compatibility with existing workflows. The depth of these changes delivered tangible improvements in release management and workflow automation across both projects.
