During August 2025, b179ry focused on enhancing UI reliability within the AxaFrance/design-system repository by addressing a persistent styling bug in the Checkbox component. Using SCSS and TypeScript, b179ry refactored the component’s styles to improve specificity and ensure consistent visual presentation across checked, focused, and disabled states. This targeted fix resolved issues with indicator and label alignment in multiple modes, directly supporting design specifications and reducing the risk of visual regressions. The work emphasized maintainability and clarity, resulting in a more robust codebase and accelerating future front-end development efforts involving CSS, React, and SCSS within the design system.
