During February 2026, contributed to both the mozilla/probe-scraper and thunderbird/thunderbird-website repositories by delivering two features focused on telemetry and configuration management. Developed EWS telemetry metrics tracking for Thunderbird desktop, enabling data analysis of EWS protocol usage through new Shell and YAML scripting. Additionally, improved ISPDB integration by generating and serving a root-level autoconfig JSON, enhancing compatibility for external tooling and reducing consumer confusion. Documented deployment considerations to align expectations and minimize integration risks. The work emphasized DevOps practices, scripting, and data analysis, resulting in more reliable configuration tooling and supporting data-driven product decisions for Thunderbird.
