Developed and delivered a new notification integration for the ex-em/EVUI repository, focusing on automating real-time messaging to Mattermost for pull request and issue comment events. Leveraged Bash scripting and YAML within GitHub Actions to create a dedicated workflow that relays repository activity directly to Mattermost channels, reducing manual notification steps and improving cross-team response times. The solution was integrated into the existing CI/CD pipeline, enhancing operational efficiency and stakeholder visibility. During this period, the primary focus remained on feature delivery and workflow stabilization, with no major bug fixes addressed, reflecting a targeted approach to improving collaboration and notification processes.
