In March 2026, Nakyup developed a new notification integration for the ex-em/EVUI repository, focusing on automating real-time messaging to Mattermost for pull request and issue comment events. Leveraging Bash scripting, YAML, and GitHub Actions, Nakyup designed and implemented a dedicated workflow that relays repository activity directly to Mattermost channels. This solution reduced manual notification steps and improved cross-team response times by embedding automated event-driven notifications into the existing CI/CD pipeline. The work concentrated on feature delivery and workflow stabilization, enhancing operational efficiency and stakeholder visibility without addressing major bugs during the period, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering effort.
