During May 2025, Baje Dev focused on improving the developer experience for the mrousavy/expo repository by addressing a documentation issue in the Firebase integration guide. Baje identified and corrected an export statement, updating it from defaultConfig to config to accurately reflect the configuration object used in the JavaScript codebase. This targeted documentation fix clarified usage for new and existing users, reducing onboarding friction and minimizing the risk of misconfiguration. The work demonstrated careful attention to detail in documentation and change management, ensuring that the written guides remained consistent with the actual code implementation and supporting smoother adoption of Firebase features.
