Worked on maintaining the bioconda/bioconda-recipes repository, focusing on improving dependency stability and build reliability for bioinformatics workflows. Addressed a critical issue by upgrading the IRMA package to version 1.3.1, which resolved dependency conflicts and ensured compatibility with SAMtools across different environments. Utilized bash scripting and YAML to refine continuous integration processes, including adjustments to test scripts that reduced CI flakiness and improved reproducibility. Cleaned up unused packaging scripts to streamline maintenance and minimize potential sources of error. The work emphasized package management best practices, resulting in more stable builds and reliable runtimes for downstream users in the bioinformatics community.
