In July 2025, Balesterri focused on improving code quality within the FinishLine repository by performing a targeted cleanup of the CalendarPage.tsx file. Using JavaScript and TypeScript, Balesterri removed a commented-out line to enhance code readability and maintainability, ensuring the frontend codebase remained clear and easy to navigate. Although this update did not introduce functional changes or address active bugs, it reduced future maintenance risk and established a cleaner foundation for upcoming calendar-related features. The work demonstrated disciplined version control practices and a commitment to frontend development standards, contributing to the long-term health of the FinishLine project’s codebase.
