Worked on the yhyang201/sglang repository to address a stability regression affecting the HIP TPOT Event.wait function on AMD MI355 hardware within the MTP sequence lens resolution process. Using Python and backend development skills, implemented a targeted workaround that improved synchronization of publish_ready events, thereby reducing execution errors and enhancing the reliability of the sequence lens resolution flow. The solution was validated to ensure compatibility with AMD MI355 deployments, and documentation was updated to reflect the new regression handling approach. This focused engineering effort resolved a critical bug, contributing to more stable and predictable backend operations for the system.
