Worked on the aws/karpenter-provider-aws repository to enhance SSH key management for node provisioning in AWS environments. Focused on improving documentation by clarifying that only public SSH keys are supported in nodeclass configurations and introduced a practical workaround for retrieving SSH keys from AWS SSM Parameter Store using the get-parameter command. This update addressed usability and operational resilience by providing clear guidance and alternative retrieval methods. Leveraged AWS and cloud computing expertise, utilizing Markdown for precise documentation. The work improved traceability by linking documentation changes to internal issue tracking, ensuring alignment with project requirements and supporting secure, maintainable infrastructure practices.
