During June 2025, Barkie Huang consolidated and reorganized KServe Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) in the red-hat-data-services/kserve repository. By renaming the primary CRD file to encompass all KServe CRDs and updating the test directory structure, Barkie improved the clarity and maintainability of resource definitions. This work, implemented using Makefile and YAML within a DevOps and Kubernetes context, reduced ambiguity and aligned the repository with evolving KServe standards. The changes enhanced test reliability and streamlined onboarding for future contributors, laying a scalable foundation for upcoming CRD modifications. No bugs were reported, reflecting a focused effort on code organization and maintainability.
