Worked on the EnterpriseDB/cloudnative-pg repository to enhance remote command streaming for cloud-native PostgreSQL workloads. Developed and integrated a WebSocket-based exec and attach streaming mechanism, replacing the legacy SPDY protocol to address persistent connectivity issues and align with Kubernetes remote command execution standards. This backend development effort, implemented in Go and leveraging Kubernetes APIs, improved the reliability and stability of remote management workflows across distributed clusters. The update reduced remote-management failures and enabled more robust operational practices. The work focused on delivering a single, well-scoped feature that directly improved cluster management, emphasizing compatibility, maintainability, and operational resilience in production environments.
