Bart Vand developed a new cross-component test capability for the SWMFsoftware/SWMF repository, focusing on integrating GM, BATSRUS, UA, and MGITM components. He added a dedicated test target to the Makefile, automating the compilation and configuration steps required for coupled simulations. This work leveraged his expertise in build systems and configuration management, using Makefile to streamline the setup and execution of complex integration tests. By documenting the end-to-end workflow, Bart improved reproducibility and onboarding for future developers.
