Worked on the hackwestern/hackwestern repository to enhance the frontend experience by focusing on user onboarding and schedule interface improvements. Addressed client-side performance by removing an unnecessary authentication redirect, simplifying server-side logic and reducing page load times. Improved the onboarding process by updating the Access Starter Pack button to open relevant resources in a new tab, streamlining access for new users. Refined the schedule UI by correcting day-name display and optimizing image layout for better readability and visual consistency. Utilized React, TypeScript, and JavaScript throughout, demonstrating a methodical approach to front end development and targeted bug resolution within a short timeframe.
